Our Milestones

Built on 40 years of innovation

The story of mylife Diabetes Care began in 1984 in Burgdorf, Switzerland, with the founding of Disetronic by Willy and Peter Michel. Just one year later, the company launched one of the world’s first microprocessor-controlled insulin pumps – laying the foundation for a legacy of pioneering insulin therapy.

Over the decades that followed, our teams contributed to key advances in insulin delivery and digital solutions – including the distribution of the first tubeless insulin pump and the development of an excellent commercial service. Always guided by the needs of people with diabetes.
